I used Tiled for this game but plan on switching to using Aseprite for future projects, I wouldn’t recommend Tiled as my files got lost a lot which forced me to remake maps.
Sweet game. It would make your game much cooler if it had a bit more polish, such as dash/jump particles. It also would be nice if you had some sort of death animation. It would also be sweet if you had a bit more variation with your tiles/deco. I know this kind of thing can be tough to implement...

I’ll keep this in mind for the next game I make, as this is my first game I didn’t want to spend too much time on making every thing perfect
