Dungeon Escape
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
WASD and Arrows keys to move
Use W, the space bar, or the Up arrow to Jump
X or L to dash (Unlocked after beating level 2)
Lore: After 2 years of war the King is overthrown and your the last Knight alive that served under the old King, the new King locks you in a dungeon that takes you to the beginning ever time you reach the end putting you into an endless loop of torture and misery.

Each Download file will come with the source code if you want to make changes without downloading it separately.
Don't move any of the files as they are organized in a way to allow the game to run.

Install instructions
The source code requires python and pygame to run.
For the Mac download look for the dist folder, in this folder there will be a file named "Dungeon", control-click the app icon and click Open, another window will open and then you have to press on Open again.
For the windows download look for the file named "Dungeon" which has a file type of application.

epic bro; but one thing; level editor?????
I used Tiled for this game but plan on switching to using Aseprite for future projects, I wouldn’t recommend Tiled as my files got lost a lot which forced me to remake maps.
Sweet game. It would make your game much cooler if it had a bit more polish, such as dash/jump particles. It also would be nice if you had some sort of death animation. It would also be sweet if you had a bit more variation with your tiles/deco. I know this kind of thing can be tough to implement...
I’ll keep this in mind for the next game I make, as this is my first game I didn’t want to spend too much time on making every thing perfect
